Club History

April 12, 2007 was a spectacular day for Kiwanians in Algona, Iowa as the fourth Kiwanis Club was organized – the Algona After 5 Kiwanis. The Algona Morwens and Algona Noon Kiwanis jointly worked together with a group of five previous JayCee members to identify potential members who wish to give back to the community. On the night of June 7, 2007 the group was chartered and the new members were inducted.

Algona is only the second community in the Nebraska-Iowa District to have five active Kiwanis clubs. What an achievement!!!
